About Grendel Games

We create fun. We do this by creating games: Serious Games that can be used to teach and train new skills, change perceptions, and share new ideas with the goal of changing the world for the better, bit by bit. That last part is reflected in our core values: trust, openness, transparency and equality.

We’ve being doing this for nearly twenty years and we’re good at it. Our games have won awards and we have international clients and partners in the healthcare, sustainability, and education sectors.

About the position

We’re six months into a three-year project to disrupt surgical training, with new games and simulators for minimally invasive surgery. To be successful, we need to get these solutions into the hands of surgical trainees across the world.

This is where you come in: our ambition is that by the time we launch in August of next year we will have one hundred thousand surgeons, trainees and medical students who want to purchase our training apps registered on our Gaming is Training platform.

How will we get there?

Between now and launch, we need to create and execute an effective marketing strategy.
Customer segmentation, social media, in-person campaigns and product management to make sure we can get it into their hands at the right price point for the markets we launch into.

You

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketeer who wants to take on this challenge, who has skills across a number of marketing disciplines, or is keen to learn them.

What are the requirements?

Desired qualifications

Previous experience in marketing to healthcare professionals is an asset but not essential.

What do we have to offer?

Do you want to learn new things, take on stuff that you can’t do in a bigger organization. We realize that nobody is going to be able to do all of the things that will make this fly, so we’ll invest in your training and development. You will build a set of transferable skills and knowledge base in marketing to healthcare professionals, that would be a valuable asset to pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in future roles.

Over the years we’ve created a company culture based on openness, trust and growth. We value quick decision making over bureaucratic processes, and there’s no room for office politics with us. Our team is regularly praised by partners and clients for its professionalism and quality and we continuously work to increase our standards.
